Jean Munn's preferred areas of practice are immigration and employment law.
Jean is fluent in the Spanish language. She is experienced in all facets of immigration law including deportation matters, refugee law, family applications, and permanent residence. Her employment law practice involves representing both employers and employees, including foreign workers and contractors. Jean provides a broad range of legal services and referrals for her Spanish speaking clientele. Jean also acts as legal counsel for a number of municipalities, corporations, non-profit agencies, boards, and community organizations.
Jean has appeared before all levels of Court in Alberta and before the Federal Court of Canada, Federal Court of Appeal, and the Immigration and Refugee Board (Immigration Appeal Division, Immigration Division, and Refugee Division).
Jean presently serves as a Member of the Alberta Human Rights Commission.
