R. J. Daniel Gilborn

Dan Gilborn is a partner in our office practicing in commercial litigation, insolvency (both personal and commercial) and legal malpractice defence. He chairs the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and is a member of the firm’s Articling Committee. He has experience in and acts for clients in every step of the litigation process from inception to trial, appeals and enforcement of judgments.

Dan has appeared before every level of Court in Alberta as both lead and co-counsel on a variety of trials, interlocutory hearings and other matters, and has appeared in the Federal Court of Canada in intellectual property claims.  He also has significant experience in alternative dispute resolutions (ADR), including judicial dispute resolutions (JDR), mediations, and arbitrations.

Dan articled and practiced at Borden Ladner Gervais prior to moving to Caron & Partners in 2014. He can offer a decade of big firm experience at smaller firm efficiencies.
