I graduated from Queen's University with an LL.B. in 1983. After completing my articles, I was called to the Alberta Bar in 1984. I was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2002. I enjoy golf, tennis, travel, and I am an avid reader.

Representative Work and Leadership:

Peter regularly represents individual clients from numerous ethic communities including the Chinese, Indian (Sikh and Hindu), Middle Eastern and Eastern European ethnicities.

He acts for major energy and transportation companies in respect of intra-company transfers into Canada and the U.S.. As well he assists these companies with executive and specialized worker transfers. Of particular note is his work with long haul truckers and various foreign workers, working in Canada under Labour Market Impact Assessments of exceptions.

In addition to acting for corporate clients, he has also helped non-profit agencies and religious organizations with their immigration needs.

Personal Interests and Hobbies:

 Peter enjoys many forms of physical activities including golf, tennis, hiking and Muy Thai Boxing. He enjoys watching the Flames win Hockey games and follows his favourite tennis players on the professional tours. His reading interests vary from a good thriller or mystery to reading about military history and current events. He enjoys travel and has visited more than 50 countries in the world.
