Litigation involves the enforcement of private
rights in courts of law or before administrative tribunals. In Alberta courts of law
include: the Provincial Court, Civil Division, the Court of Queen's Bench, the Alberta
Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, and
the Tax Court of Canada. Some common administrative tribunals would include: the
Workers' Compensation Board and Development Appeal Boards.
